Newest Developments and Urgent Issues in Measurement Error and Latent Variable Problems (16w5063)

Organizing committee:  Paul Gustafson (University of British Columbia), Yanyuan Ma (University of South Carolina), Liqun Wang (University of Manitoba) and Grace Yi (University of Waterloo)

The main objectives of this workshop are:   i) to address emerging and pressing problems and challenges in the area of measurement error and latent variable modelling; ii) to bring together researchers focusing on various aspects of measurement error to exchange ideas and their respective problems, difficulties, with the ultimate goal of establishing productive collaborations; iii) to discuss directions of future research and to advocate the latest developments in the area; iv) to facilitate interactions between theoretical researchers, methodological researchers and applied statisticians or subject-area researchers; and v) to encourage graduate students and new researchers to work in this area.
